Which mutual fund to select as I am a moderate risk taker

Want to invest Rs. 15,000 per month. Moderate risk taker for 10 years. Please give the funds name, amount of investment in each fund,got maximum return, how much?

Being a moderate risk taker, you can invest in balanced funds. Some of the top performing balanced funds are, ICICI Prudential balanced fund, HDFC balanced fund, SBI Magnum balanced fund and Birla Sun Life Balanced 95 Fund. You may consider investing in any of these two funds with an investment horizon of 10 years.

You can expect an annual return of around 12% from these funds over 10 years. Accordingly, by investing Rs 15,000 per month, you can expect a corpus of Rs 35 Lakhs against your investment of Rs 18 Lakhs over 10 years

The other suggestion is that, since you are investing for the long term, you must review your portfolio performance once every year just to ensure that it is aligned to your long term investment objectives
